DESCRIPTION
Protecting labour rights, ensuring a safe working environment and promoting the rights of migrant workers in the supply chain and beyond is now a way to ensure sustainability at work globally. This session will address the new approaches for improving working conditions in the supply chain and labour migration. It will also offer a family law perspective on the vulnerabilities of migrants at home, such as the financial rights of the ‘weak’ spouse in case of a relationship breakdown.
